How Toy Box Time Got Started

When Joy Grover witnessed the utter delight in her childrens’ eyes when they received a new toy, she realized that toys mean far more than entertainment. Playtime was filled with learning, growing, and discovering!

Remembering again the delights of the world through sharing in their play, she wanted to introduce the same family bonding, exploration, and enjoyment to other families. With the determination to provide access to quality, kid safe toys at affordable prices, she began Toy Box Time in 2007.

How We Stand By Our Products

Through researching what is available to consumers and testing toys, the Toy Box Time team has achieved 100% customer satisfaction in products and customer service. Every toy listed in our store has been personally tested or given as gifts to friends and family.

  • When the Grover family discovered the peaceful relaxation of flying kites outdoors, Toy Box Time added beautiful kites to the growing inventory of fabulous safe kids toys.
  • They also discovered that the Bearington Baby collection is the softest quality line available for babies.

In every choice, safety comes first! (Read more about our Toy Safety policies.) Once the toy has been tested and proven safe, we strive to offer that toy at the lowest possible price so all families can enjoy it! We are in the process of testing and listing new toys for 2008!

Customer service is as equally important to us as the quality of our products. We handle our customers personally, striving to meet their needs, even creating unique gift sets as requested.

Simply put, the driving passion behind our business is the children.

  • We love to see or hear about the delight children experience when playing with our toys.
  • We want to encourage learning in fun ways, with toys that teach and excite!

And with all the product recalls in stores today, knowing that the children playing with our toys are safe makes all the difference in the world.

About the Owner, Joy Grover

Toy Box Time owner, Joy Grover, has a dream of someday opening a brick and mortar gift shop. Running Toy Box Time has been a taste of that dream and has allowed her many opportunities, including more time with her children.

She and her husband of over 12 years have two beautiful girls that they greatly enjoy. Keeping their schedule open for their children is so important to them that they have a weekly family night, when they play with toys and games together as a family.

Living out in the country, they spend a lot of time outdoors, when they are not running their businesses. With family as the first priority, the Grover family often enjoys

  • Skiing, snowmobiling, and iceskating in the winter
  • Swiming, water skiing, kneeboarding, and tubing in the summer

Joy also coaches volleyball, and enjoys playing when she has the opportunity.
